Fictional phantasms; A selection drawn from mythology, folklore, and an active imagination. This variety of work brought Brewer's visionary pieces to the public's attention in 2005 when her taxidermy sculpture titled "Goth Griffin" was featured on the front page of the New York Times art section. Since that time her work has garnered an international following and cult status. She is now considered to be one of the most influential artists working within the genre of Rogue Taxidermy.
